ELECTRO A GO GO

This is a blog inspired by my deep love of everything and all things relating to electronic music. Primarily you'll see hard electro and electro remixes of my favorite pop and hip hop tracks.

Enjoy, love, lose yourself in the music, and DANCE YOUR ASSES OFF!

DILLON FRANCIS - I.D.G.A.F.O.S.

A simplistic synth line is the introduction, which quickly delves into something more emphasized and glitchier, with chopped up, almost ethereal male vocals. There’s a feeling of earnestness and sweetness, then all of a sudden… it hits, there’s a definite dubstep wobble. There’s a marked juxtaposition between soft and hard, and this particular dichotomy blends together too well. A dreamy headbanger, how can you not dance to this?

(And yes, I’m back! I’ve always been particularly bad at keeping up blogs, but I’ll definitely try to post more tunes! Do you guys have any particular suggestions? I’d love to hear them!)

Christmas lights set to Skrillex’s “First of the Year (Equinox).” Pretty amazingly awesome, if you ask me.

So, have a very Skrillex Christmas, everybody!

I already love Avcii and I already love Skrillex, so put the pair of them together and what do you get? Magic.

DJ Pilot rocks the place, rocks the place that’s bumpin’ bass

From San Francisco, CA, this Asian-American wunderkid made waves across the UK and Europe with his intense skills on the turntables. After joining forces with Phoenix Plus, the UK’s premiere club promotion company, Pilot rose to popularity. Originally a hip hop DJ, Pilot infuses that with remixes of Top 40 tracks with a pulsing electro beat that’s definitively unique and danceable. From Nottingham, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Germany, Hong Kong, and Spain, Pilot’s headlined the world enticing club goers with his effortlessly catchy live mixes and American flair.

Although he’s back in his native SF, he’s still releasing electro-themed mixes. His international fan base, however, are ready and impatient for him to return to Europe for more. Pilot has said more than once that touring Europe was the best decision of his life and is also excited to go back to his thousands of fans and club go-ers.

happy times with mah Brotatoes

Nonsensical and repetitive, yet somehow it’s become a bit of a modern electro classic.
